Baba Yaga Hut - Sterling Silver Pendant

This detailed sterling silver pendant features Baba Yaga’a hut on chicken feet. Baba Yaga is a Slavic witch of the woods, ogress, dark goddess of lore. She is a mythical creature, forest spirit, a grandmother figure, and a mistress of magic. She either helps, imprisons, or eats those she encounters. She is among the most famous figures from Slavic folktales and has found a following in the present day among those who see her as embodying female empowerment and independence.

The pendant hangs on a 24" 2 mm sterling silver rolo chain, and lobster claw clasp. The heavy solid sterling silver pendant itself is 2.25 in length from top to bottom. The hut is about an inch wide. The chicken legs hang like a bell inside the house and will move as you wear your piece!
