Sweet Myrrh resin, or Opoponax Gum, comes from the dried sap of the Sweet Myrrh tree, found mainly in north Africa and the Meditteranean. The resin / oil is used in divination and magickal work to affect change in the subconscious, to learn what is hidden, and to open the mind to occult knowledge. The spicy-sweet, musky fragrance of this resin, when burned, enhances creativity and is used for tuning the mind to spiritual vibrations. Resin incense is to be used with charcoal tablets in an appropriate heat-proof burner or container. Charcoal tablets for burning resins are also available to purchase in our shop.
