This listing is for ONE Cast Iron Deer Antler Candlestick, made from very Heavy Heirloom Cast Iron with an Antique Finish. It features 2 candleholders on the antler base.
Depictions of deer are found throughout magickal and pagan traditions, associated with the lore of many ancient Gods. We see antlers when we think of the Wiccan horned god or other forest deities such as the Celtic god Cernunnos. Deer are also associated with the Greek Goddess and huntress, Artemis, and Diana, and in Norse mythology, the stag Eikpyrnir that lives on top of Valhalla.
